Case Study: Mail survey / Rare blood disorder

Question. A major pharmaceutical wanted to learn more about patients with a rare blood disorder to assist in its services, communication, and satisfaction of patients taking its medicine.

Answer. Over a two-month period, Qessential developed a mail survey for distribution to the entire patient population database. Qessential created the survey pack, including a letter, survey, and business reply envelope tailored to these patients.

Results. Nearly 960 surveys were completed, delivering a response rate of nearly 40%. These survey results were compared to a prior 2001 survey to determine client satisfaction over time.

Factoid

Owls utilize their amazing eyesight to help spot prey. In addition to the upper and lower eyelids, the Snowy Owl has a 3rd eyelid called a nictitating membrane. This opaque membrane protects their sensitive eyes from sun glare so they can hunt with more precision in the stark white landscape.
